Description
This barn, located southeast of Lordship Farm House, dates from the 18th century and later. It features a timber frame and is weatherboarded, standing on a brick base. The roof is covered with old red tiles and modern pan tiles. The barn is 1-2 storeys high and runs parallel to the road. The taller southern section, which is from the 18th century, has a half-hipped roof and a large hipped roof loading bay in the center of the eastern side. There is a wall plate on the brick base below the double doors. Inside, the barn has four bays with clasped purlin roof construction. The open southern end is lower and was added in the 19th century, featuring a gabled central cart entrance.
