Description
This is a block of four houses located in Braughing village, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The houses are timber-framed and plastered, featuring a very steep roof that is now tiled. The row is long, with two stories and attics, facing east, and has central chimneys. Each house has boarded doors and two-light small-paned flush casement windows, which have been renewed, with two windows on each floor. At the northern end of the row, there is a single-storey lean-to with a tiled roof. Additionally, there is a two-storey shallow rear extension with a lean-to roof that overlaps the back of the main house roof.
