Description
This is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 18th century and a later addition in the 20th century. The main part of the house is timber-framed with roughcast rendering on a stucco plinth, and has an old red tiled roof. A north wing is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The house faces east and has a small, gabled projecting front wing with a door in its north side. A 19th-century chimney, featuring two diagonal shafts, projects from the left flank of this wing. A pointed-headed window located just south of this projection likely marks the location of a former entrance. A gabled dormer is set into the eaves to the left, with a window positioned below it. There is an internal gable chimney at the south end. A pointed doorway is sheltered by a tiled lean-to canopy.
