Description

The barn at Cook's Farm is a structure dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It has a timber frame that is weatherboarded and sits on a brick sill. The barn features a steep roof that is currently covered in corrugated iron. It is an unaisled barn with three bays, oriented to the east, and includes a central gabled porch. On the west side, there is a small winnowing door opposite the central double doors. The roof is designed with clasped purlins. This barn is a prominent feature in the landscape, located on the brow of a hill.
