Description

This is a dovecote located 25 meters to the northeast of Broadfield Hall Farm, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features clasping corner buttresses. The roof is a two-stage steep pyramidal design covered with old red tiles and topped with a wind vane. There is a boarded door situated in the middle of the south side. Historical records from the early 18th century mention a brick dove house at this farm.
