Description

A row of three late 18th or early 19th century dwellings, altered and extended in the 20th century. The houses are timber-framed with a red brick base and weatherboard cladding, set beneath a tiled roof. They have six bays, and are one storey with an attic. The entrances are to the rear, with plank doors on numbers 6 and 10, an open porch to number 10, and a closed porch to number 8. Each house has flanking casement windows, with three gabled dormers; metal diamond panes are present in numbers 6 and 10, while number 8 has 20th-century casements. The roof has sprocket eaves. Cross-axial ridge stacks are positioned between the houses, with an internal left-end stack and an attic light in the right gable end. At the rear are two single-light casements, and two gabled dormers. A lean-to outshut with a pantiled roof is located behind number 10, including an entrance on the left return. To the left of the main row is a low former outbuilding with a 20th-century addition to the front, featuring a three-light casement window to the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
