Description
This is a 17th-century house, later altered in the 18th and 20th centuries, and now used as commercial premises. The building has a timber frame with a front of red brick in a Flemish bond, which is currently colourwashed. The roof is an old tiled gambrel with a central box dormer featuring a sash window with small panes, a brick chimneystack, and a raised parapet to the south party wall. The house is two storeys high with an attic. The first floor has two sash windows with small panes and exposed flush boxes, placed beneath rubbed flat arches. There is a modern shopfront on the ground floor. A timber-framed outshoot, plastered and with old tiled roofs, is also present.
