Description

Nos 2 and 4 Bridge Street are early 17th century buildings constructed with painted roughcast and brick over a timber frame, topped with an old red tile roof. The buildings rise three storeys and feature four windows. The north front facing the street has a slightly jettied first floor with three modern oriel windows and four second floor gables with modern casement windows. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. The west front, which faces Palmers Lane, includes a central gable. Inside, there are some exposed oak beams with chamfered stops.
