Description

No 15 on Bridge Street is an early to mid-19th century former malthouse range, known as Flinn's Maltings, positioned at right angles to the street. The building features painted brick and weatherboarding, topped with slate pitched roofs, although part of the south end has asbestos sheeting. It stands two storeys high and includes three kilns. The east side has a lean-to range with fixed pane windows on the first floor and a central double door sack hoist. At the north end of the range is the former owner's house, also from the mid-19th century, constructed of painted stucco with a slate pitched roof. This house is symmetrical on the south side, featuring a central door with a gabled canopy, sash windows, and two gables adorned with cusped bargeboards.
