Description
The East Barn at Home Farm, located 60 meters southeast of the farmhouse, is an 18th-century barn. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and sits on a low brick sill, topped with a steep roof now covered in asbestos cement sheets. The barn has five bays and includes a central gabled porch on the east side, with double doors leading to the yard on the west side. The structure has unjowled posts with knee braces supporting the tie beams and a clasped purlin roof. Inside, the space is filled with grain bins and has ventilators on the roof. On either side of the east porch, there are two heavily framed lean-to cattle shelters.
