Description
The stable block at Knoll Farm, located 15 meters southeast of the house, dates from the late 17th century, with the ground floor encased in brick from the 18th century. The structure features a timber frame that is plastered, with decorative pargetting and smooth margins around the openings. The ground floor is constructed of red brick all around, and it has a steep old red tile roof with bellcast eaves. The building is two stories high, with a gable facing the road to the south. There is a boarded door on the east side for each level, and two small-paned flush windows on the west side for each floor. This stable block encloses the east side of the forecourt to the farmhouse and is situated prominently on a bend in the road.
