Description

Beanfield Cottages are a pair of two-storey houses built in the late 18th or early 19th century. They are weatherboarded with a gabled roof covered in old red tiles and have internal gable chimneys positioned slightly towards the front. Each house has a symmetrical arrangement of two windows on each floor, with a central front door. The windows are wooden, two-light units with delicate Gothic cast iron casements, featuring pointed heads on the upper lights. The front door is a plank door set within a simple surround, accented by bold shaped brackets supporting an inclined dripboard.
