Description

This property comprises numbers 1 and 3 High Street, dating to the mid-18th century and early 19th century. The roof is slate tile and features a mansard design with pargetting. The building is two and a half storeys high. The ground floor has a prominent, projecting double shop front dating to the early 19th century, with 27 panes of glass on each side of a modern door. The shop front fascia is adorned with carved consoles and a cornice. Above, four 18th-century sash windows are visible on the first floor, with a band and capping to the parapet. There are two modern, flat-roofed dormers. The interior includes a central dog leg staircase, with a curved sash window incorporated into the landing wall.
