Description
Church Manor is a building that was refaced in the 18th century, originally an earlier mansion. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate hipped roof behind a parapet. The building stands three storeys high. The west garden front has a recessed center flanked by projecting wings. It showcases early 19th century segmental head sash windows with brick keystones. The south garden front has three windows, all from the early 19th century, with segmental headed sashes on the first and second floors; the first floor windows are triple-hung. On the ground floor, there are two canted sash window bays on either side of a central French window with side sashes. There are decorative bands between the ground and first floors and beneath the parapet. Inside, the manor contains old panelling. Historically, it was the home of the Denny family.
