Description

This is a block of four houses, built around 1800. They are constructed of grey and yellow brick with a steeply pitched roof of old red tiles. The houses are arranged in pairs, each pair having one window on each floor and a front door set away from a shared central chimney. The windows and doors are recessed, and the eaves feature decorative dentils. Segmental arches feature over the openings. A plastered gable faces north, and rear extensions are present. The houses are significant in views from the north and south of the village and church. They are included on the heritage list for their group value.
