Description

The building at 34 and 36 Crib Street is a house, originally constructed in the 17th century and substantially rebuilt in 1990. It is now divided into two separate dwellings. The house has a timber frame with a smooth rendered exterior and an old tiled roof. It is two storeys high, with two windows on the first floor and one window on the ground floor, all featuring modern wooden casements. The entrance has two flush four-panel doors within architraves, and a tunnel passageway is located on the left side. A modern extension has been added to the rear of the property. The south gable is weatherboarded, following the demolition of adjacent properties in the 1980s, which created a new access to the rear. The building is included on the heritage list for its group value.
