Description
Wick Farm is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century, featuring a northern crosswing, an 18th-century front range, and a mid-19th-century parallel rear range, all topped with a simple pitched roof. The front range is finished in stucco that mimics ashlar, while the rear range is made of brick and flint that has been painted. The northern crosswing is constructed of fine red brick in English bond, with original plaster clasping corner pilasters that have moulded caps and bases. The roof is slated. The building is two storeys high and has a nearly symmetrical front range with three windows. The central door is round-headed and flanked by sash windows with 8/12 panes, along with a triple sash window to the left of the door. Above the half-glazed door is a radial fanlight. The large 17th-century crosswing has two capped-off external chimneys on the northern wall and a plastered central projection on the western side, which features one window on each floor. This farmhouse is included for its group value.
