Description

This is a two-storey house, originally likely two separate dwellings, now combined as one. The front facade dates from the early 19th century and is built of plum-coloured brick in a Flemish bond pattern, while the rear wing has a tile-hung exterior. The roof is covered with steep old red tiles, with a gabled dormer on the rear slope.

The house faces north and has a symmetrical arrangement on the front. It features four windows on the first floor, with flush casement windows of a 1:2:2:1 light configuration. A central plank door, raised two steps and sheltered by a lean-to tiled hood, provides entry. There are two-light casement windows flanking the door, with one further to the east and a plank side door at the west end. A fragment of a Crown Insurance plaque remains on the front wall. The rear wing is single-storey with a gabled form. The property is listed for its group value.
