Description

The barn at Oddyns, located 20 meters northwest, dates from the late 16th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tile roof. The structure is seven bays long and features a gabled midstrey on the south side. The original frame is nearly intact, showcasing heavily jowled main posts, a framed side purlin roof supported by massive queen struts, halved and bladed top plate scarfs, and arch braced tie beams.
