Boundary wall. Early C19. Approx 2m high, of flint, panelled between red brick piers, mainly flush. Section to Castle Hill approx 51m long is internally all of red brick, mixed bond, mainly headers with fragments of moulded round bricks interspersed. Half round red brick coping over whole length. SE corner, site of old gateway has rudimentary flint infilling. Adjacent curved section rebuilt in red brick, faced in flint to street. 2 original gateways, at extremities, square brick piers, stone caps. Church Street section, 74m long. Gateway to Church Street inset with linking low quadrant walls. Original spear-topped railings on quadrants, C20 gate-leaves in similar style hang on inner wooden posts. Wall to E, now internally buttressed with 4 C20 heavy quadrant piers.
