Description
Church View is a house of several builds, shaped like an L, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It features red plain tile gambrel roofs, with a half-hipped roof on the 20th-century rear range that includes two catslide dormers. The front range has a half-hipped roof with a gablet, one catslide dormer, and a half-hipped gable of an off-centre crosswing, all with one storey and attics. The house is timber framed and plastered, with 20th-century pargetting. The front has a four-to-one window range of 20th-century diamond leaded casements. There is a 20th-century gabled tiled porch with a door leading to the front porch, and two garage doors are located on the rear range. A red brick chimney stack is also present.
