Description

Tudor Cottage is a house and crosswing dating from the 15th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. The exposed timber frame crosswing on the left features a first floor and gable jetty supported by four curved brackets, with two storeys and an attic. The red plain tiled roof extends to cover a porch on the left side of the main range and includes a central gabled dormer. The crosswing has one window and an oriel bay, while the main range has a red tiled oriel bay and one window, both featuring mainly diamond leaded casements. The entrance includes a six-panelled round-headed door. A red brick concertina chimney shaft with a moulded brick base is present on the main range, and original mullioned windows can be found at the south end.
