Description

Poplar Farm's farm buildings, located 10 meters south of Poplar Farmhouse, date from around 1871 and are part of a larger complex. The buildings are constructed of red brick and topped with a grey slate roof. They feature high-quality King Post construction and have a band of ornate moulded red brick louvres running throughout. The structure is L-shaped, designed for cows, with brick-floored enclosed stalls and open side shelters to the west and east. An open yard is situated to the north, providing protection from the farmhouse.
