Description
The Old Vicarage is a house that dates from the 15th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 16th and 17th centuries. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The original design included an open hall and a gabled, jettied cross-wing on the right side. The building has two storeys, along with a single storey and attics. It has a two-window range, with 17th century and 20th century casements. There are lean-to extensions at both ends of the structure and a 16th century red brick chimney stack. Internally, extensive remains of the timber frame can be seen.
