Description

This is a 17th to 18th century cottage located 45 metres northwest of Church Cottage in Langley. It is one and a half storeys tall with attics, constructed from timber framing and plaster. The cottage features a hipped thatched roof that has a wide sweep towards the east end. It has casement windows, an eyebrow dormer on the north elevation with a four-light central casement window and two adjoining two-light windows on each side. There is also an inset dormer on the south elevation and a central brick chimney stack. A modern one-storey extension with a tiled gabled roof is present at the west end. This cottage is part of a group of listed buildings in the area.
