Description
Bustler's Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century, with later extensions from the late 17th or 18th century and the 19th century. The building features a timber frame with plastered painted flint and a tarred plinth. It has thatched roofs, with the south-east extension having a half-hipped design. There is a red brick end stack and a square planned ridge stack. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and originally follows a three-unit lobby entry plan, with the south-east extension and a gable end lean-to on the left side. The entrance on the north-east elevation was added in the 20th century. The cottage has two ground floor horizontal sliding sash windows and two plain tiled gabled dormer windows with casements. Inside, there are stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
