Description

Nos 7 and 8 on Fishmarket Street in Thaxted are an early 19th century pair of cottages. They are timber framed and have weatherboarding on the sides, with a painted brick front and rear. The cottages feature grey slate roofs and are two storeys tall. Each cottage has a two-window range, with double hung vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. Central red brick chimney stacks complete the exterior.
