Description

No. 2 Stoney Lane is a three-storey town house dating from around 1410. It features jetties at each floor and is constructed with a timber frame that is plastered, with the frame exposed on the exterior. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, and the house has original cellars. Many of the leaded casements remain in their original openings, and the building includes curved jetty brackets and crenellated and moulded top plates. Inside, the timber frame is exposed, showcasing arch-braced, cambered tie beams and crown post roofs. There is also one original doorway with a four-centred head.
