The roof is covered with red plain tiles. The building has original cellars and leaded casement windows, many of which are in their original openings, along with 19th-century double-hung vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. Notable external features include carved jetty brackets and a 16th-century red brick chimney stack, as well as plaster eaves coving. Inside, the timber frame is also exposed, showcasing stop-chamfered beams, jowled storey posts, cambered tie beams, and crown post roofs.
