Description
Nos 21 and 23 on Newbold Road are a pair of cottages built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, forming one building. They feature a red brick facade, end chimneys, and a stone slate roof, rising to three storeys. The building has four windows, although the two central windows on the first and second floors are now blank. The top floor has modern casement windows, while the other floors have sash windows with moulded boxed frames, late 19th-century glazing, and stuccoed lintels. Notable features include well-designed paired centre trellis porches with arched entrances and six-panelled doors with moulded architraves.
