Description

Bridgehouse Farmhouse Outbuilding, located 5 metres west of the house, dates from the 14th and 15th centuries, with a roof that was replaced in the 18th century. The structure is timber framed and plastered, featuring a two-level thatched roof. The 15th-century section includes sooted collars on each rafter pair and arch braces supporting the tie beams, cross passage, and one bay. The adjoining 14th-century section was later used as a cartshed and may have been relocated during the 18th-century re-roofing.
