The pump adjoining the east elevation of 42B High Street in Great Dunmow is an early 19th-century yard pump. It features a timber casing, a lead spout, and a decorative back plate that includes a twisted wrought iron 'Y' strap for the spout. The pump is operated by a straight cast iron handle.
