Description

These are a group of 17th-century cottages located on the south side of Bolford Street, Thaxted. They are timber-framed structures, with plastered walls and a red plain tile roof. The cottages are two storeys high and feature a five-window range of modern casement windows. A central chimney stack is constructed of red brick. The plasterwork has been recently applied with a pargetted finish.
