16 Newbiggen Street is an early 16th century or earlier gabled cross-wing building. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features one window range. On the ground floor, there is a double hung vertical sliding sash window, while the upper floor has a modern casement window. The exterior also includes modern pargetting.
