Description

This is an early 19th-century house, situated on the east side of Newbiggen Street, Thaxted. It is constructed with a mix of brick and timber framing, and the exterior is plastered. The roof is covered with grey slate. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window range. The windows are double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Above the doors are flat pentice boards supported by brackets. A red brick chimney stack is also visible.
