Description

The Old School House is an 18th-century house, extended in the 20th century. It is timber-framed, with some sections weatherboarded and others plastered, and has a slate roof. The original house features end chimney stacks and was extended to the southwest in the 20th century. It is two storeys high. The front elevation is weatherboarded, containing two windows with horizontally sliding sashes – one a 19th-century original, another a reproduction – a 20th-century casement window, and a plain door. The upper floor has five 20th-century casement windows. No timber framing was visible in January 1983. The building is listed for group value.
