Description

The dovecote located to the south-west of Elsenham Place is a 17th-century structure. It features a square timber frame with a brick base, a weather-boarded plinth, and plastered upper sections. The roof is pyramid-shaped and is topped with an open cupola that has a smaller pyramid roof. Inside, the dovecote retains its original nesting boxes.
