Description

The Crown Inn is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on Elsenham High Street. It stands two storeys high and features a four-window range. The upper storey has small casement windows, while the ground storey includes three canted bays with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars. There is a six-panel door with an architrave and a hood supported by brackets. The roof is tiled and has one central chimney stack and one end external chimney stack on the front block.
