Description

The barns to the west of Elsenham Place, which front the road, are an L-shaped range built in the 17th and 18th centuries. They are constructed from timber framing and weatherboarding, with some plaster on the west side. The roofs are tiled. A large 17th-century barn extends to both the east and west and features a half hipped roof, while 18th-century barns extend to the south at the west end. There are gabled entrance bays on the east, west, and south sides.
