Description

This is a 19th-century cast iron pump situated to the west of numbers 27–31 High Street, Great Dunmow. The pump has an octagonal shaft divided into four stages, topped with an ogee-profiled octagonal finial and blank Gothic panels. It stands on a stone block, featuring a straight horizontal spout and a curved handle.
