Description

The well-head, dating from the 19th century, is located approximately 10 meters south of Green Easter in Great Canfield. It features a circular brick surround and a wooden collar with wooden cross-frames that are arch-braced, supporting a thatched roof. The well-head also includes a windlass with a wooden roller and a cranked iron handle.
