Description

This is a cottage with a rear wing, dating back to the 17th century or earlier, and subsequently altered and added to. The cottage is timber-framed and has been plastered. It is one storey high with an attic, featuring a five-window front with square, leaded casement windows. One window is a small bay supported by brackets and covered by a tiled canopy. The roof is red plain tiles with a gambrel shape, and a thatched wing extends to the rear. The front range has a half-hip to the right and two catslide dormers. A 20th-century porch and door have been added. A central square chimney stack is constructed of red brick.
