Description

This is an early 18th-century cottage located on the west side of Newbiggen Street, Thaxted. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a half-hipped thatched roof. The cottage is two storeys high and originally had a three-window range, now featuring modern casement windows. A central brick chimney stack, originally red, remains from the original construction.
