Description
Nutcracker Tea Shop is a dwelling and shop that is part of a terrace, built in the 18th century for Richard Rigby. The building is likely made of plastered brick and features a red plain tiled roof with a rear chimney stack. It has two storeys and attics, with a flat-headed dormer on the right that contains a 20th-century window. The facade includes a plinth, pilasters on the right and left, and a central band. There are two small paned vertically sliding sash windows with moulded surrounds on the first floor, a similar window on the ground floor, and a central shop window with glazing bars, topped with a small canopy. Access is via a step approach to the left, leading to a four-panel, two-light door with a fanlight above that has a segmental head.
