Description

This is an 18th-century house, originally part of a terrace built for Richard Rigby. It is constructed of plastered brick with a red plain tiled roof and a chimney stack to the left. The house is two storeys high with attics, featuring a single flat-headed dormer window. It has small-paned 2-light casement windows, with a single sash window to the first floor and windows with horns to the ground floor. Pilasters are shared with the houses on either side. A central band runs across the facade, and there is a plinth at the base. The front has a three-window arrangement. A step approach leads to the door on the right, which has reveal panels, a moulded surround, a frieze, a flat canopy, and is a four-panel door with a 2-light window above. The property is grouped with 3/227.
