Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th century, located on Rectory Road in Great Holland. The building is constructed of red brick with ashlar line plastering and features red plain tiled roofs with two levels. There are two red brick chimney stacks on the left side of the main range and an external stack on the right. The eaves are adorned with a modillion cornice, and there is a central band with pilasters at the porch and the angles of the main range. The house is two storeys high with attics, and it has three dormers at the rear.
The porch is off-centre to the right and has a flat roof, with a cornice and band that continue through. The front elevation has a window arrangement of three, one, one, and one, consisting of vertically sliding sashes with glazed margins, except for a three-light casement on the ground floor to the right. The entrance features a 20th-century panelled door, rusticated reveals, and plain columns with moulded capitals and bases. The porch also includes a moulded frieze and a dentilled soffit beneath the flat canopy.
