Description

Great Holland Lodge is a house dating from the early 19th century. It has a timber-frame structure with a gault facade and plaster returns. The building has double-range red plain tiled roofs and three symmetrically placed red brick chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade punctuated by a parapet. The window arrangement is 1:2:1, with two-storey angled bays on the right and left sides, featuring moulded surrounds. The first-floor cornices have dentilled soffits. Gauged stucco arches frame the central windows, which contain small-paned vertically sliding sashes. The central entrance features a two-panel, four-light door, pilasters, a frieze, and dentilled soffits to an open pediment.
