Description

This is a 17th-century cottage with later alterations and additions, located at the end of Old Harwich Road. The building is timber framed and plastered, consisting of two sections. The left section has a thatched roof, while the right section features a red pantile roof. The right side includes a single-storey outshot with an external chimney stack, and there is an end stack on the right side of the left section. The cottage has one storey and attics, with a gabled dormer. It has a 2:3 window arrangement, primarily featuring two-light small-paned casements, and a central vertically boarded door. Inside, some of the frame is exposed, and there is an inglenook fireplace.
