Description
Filde Hall, formerly known as The Rectory, is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped grey slate roof, with no visible chimney stack from the front. The building has rear wings and stands two storeys high, with a possible cellar. The façade includes a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, each topped with gauged brick arches. There are right and left arches at ground level. Access to the porch is via a three-step approach, leading to a flat canopy supported by plain columns with moulded capitals and bases. The entrance door is a four-panelled, two-light design, and the windows are fitted with internal panelled shutters.
