Description
Amerell's Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 17th century or earlier for the rear range, with an early 19th-century front range that has undergone 19th-century and later alterations and additions. The front range is made of plastered brick and features dentilled eaves, topped by a red plain tiled roof. There are red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The house is two storeys high and has three vertically sliding sash windows on the first floor, along with a central recessed door. A continuous grey slate porch supported by brackets covers the bays and doorway. The rear range is timber framed and plastered, with an end chimney stack. Internally, chamfered bridging joists and some of the frame are visible.
